Chris is the one who comes to him, cleans him up and makes him put away the vodka bottles. JC thinks he should be shocked by Chris's presence, but he's not.

Chris plops down and says "You're gonna be okay."

JC knows that he's not, that he has to find a way to make it okay again between him and Justin. "I need to explain, I need to make him understand."

Chris still looks kind when he says "Sometimes things don't end happily." And it's final and JC doesn't know any words or songs to make it feel right again.
