Wax: Smoke sculpture. And the neck tattoos in evidence. Plus the whole 'we're so cool here with our sunglasses' business.

Rossetti: I think my original title for this one was "Norman Blows."

To explain my particular fascination with this one: he's right in the middle of being the Perfect Smoker. He's blowing out his 'lighting the cigarette' puff, but right after this he lets out a full stream of smoke. It's fascinating! He's a machine!

Norman smoking is a sight to behold. In fact, I want a cigarette now.

I like the Norman profile here, too. And the way his hair kind of creeps around his ears.

There is beautiful symmetry here, obviously

He has a nice, strong jaw. As opposed to Sean there, who isn't really to his advantage in profile.

And this is one of those shots that really establishes they're twins. But when you slow it down, they look NOTHING ALIKE. It's quite odd.

Yeah, the synchronicity of movement and so forth. A lot of the time, watching it, you really don't have time to notice that their bone structures are that different. They did a lot with, like, coordinated clothes, facial hair.

Movements, in particular. Even though it's not blindingly obvious.

Although they couldn't make the hair similar. Because Sean's hair stands up and Norman's lies down.

The fine hair/coarse hair dilemma.

Sean has wirebrush hair and Norman has babysilk hair.

Can I also mention a love of the peacoats?

Please, do. Those are some cool coats.

It kind of reinforces their East coast/ yet Irish!/ working class thing.

I really like their snug black turtlenecks... that they wear in other scenes.

And the rosaries! You get a hint of rosary on Norman, here

The Virgin Mary tats look a bit like some strange rash at this resolution, though.

I suppose I could comment on the architecture. But, really, the draw here is the implication of lung power and the way the cigarette hangs out of his mouth.
